This Week's Feature:
Savoring Europe
Let’s be real—while the stunning sights, rich history, and amazing accommodations are all great, the true highlight of any trip is diving into the local food and connecting with the people!
This week, let’s explore some must-try foods across Europe. From savoring pasta in Rome and bratwurst in Berlin to enjoying escargot in Paris, stroopwafels in Amsterdam, and a Sunday roast in London, I’ve sampled plenty of delicious eats on my European adventures! And that's just to name a few! Here are a few that you definitely shouldn’t miss!
Pizza: Catania, Sicily
When we think of pizza, Naples often comes to mind, and rightly so, as they serve some of the best in the world. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t highlight the extraordinary pizza I enjoyed in Catania. This classic dish, with its simple yet sublime combination of the freshest tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil, is truly unforgettable.

Fish Soup: Lisbon, Portugal
Without a doubt, one of the most flavorful soups I’ve ever had is the fish soup in Lisbon. Rich with fish and various seafood, yet surprisingly light, this dish is the perfect choice for a light lunch or a starter for dinner.

Stuffed Gordal Olives: Madrid, Spain
Really, you can't go wrong with anything you eat in the Mercado de San Miguel. But these stuffed gordal olives with roasted red peppers and anchovies were not to be missed!

Gelato: Rome, Italy
It's really hard to say just how many servings of gelato I had when I was in Rome. Coming from someone lacks a sweet tooth, I couldn't get enough of this creamy dessert!

Bratwurst: Berlin, Germany
The Bavarian fare in Berlin's beer gardens is simply delectable. While the bratwurst was my favorite, I didn’t stop there! The spaetzle, pretzels, and beer were equally amazing.

Don’t miss out on these other ‘dish-tinctive’ must-tries!
Croissant (France) - Flaky, buttery pastry that’s perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Paella (Spain) - A flavorful rice dish typically made with seafood, chicken, and a variety of vegetables and spices.
